Marley's Surgery

Marley is going in for surgery on Tuesday. Can you believe the kitties are nearly 6 months old? It seems crazy! I had an appointment scheduled for March 6, but I've noticed the kitties are getting a bit amorous. The other night, Marley seemed to have "figured out what he's supposed to do" and I realized that we can't wait that long. Fortunately, someone has cancelled, and I can get him in sooner. Mom took Bella home with her, as it is very difficult to keep them separated. Poor little guy. I know how he feels.

For those who have asked how you can help...

The first few weeks after surgery will likely be the toughest - at this point, between Mike & my mother, someone will be staying with me for the first 2 weeks. As was the case last time, meals and visits both sound wonderful (even during the first 2 weeks, as that would be a huge help to Mike & my mom). If you would like to stop by to visit or bring a meal, please let me know a time that is convenient for you. I will be keeping an Excel spreadsheet (of course) to keep track of when to expect people. You can also call me at home (609-877-2238) to see if I am up for visitors (don't worry about disturbing me... I won't answer if I am not up to talking). Emails are also appreciated, and keep me feeling connected (though work-related emails don't really count!)
