Marley is going in for surgery on Tuesday. Can you believe the kitties are nearly 6 months old? It seems crazy! I had an appointment scheduled for March 6, but I've noticed the kitties are getting a bit amorous. The other night, Marley seemed to have "figured out what he's supposed to do" and I realized that we can't wait that long. Fortunately, someone has cancelled, and I can get him in sooner. Mom took Bella home with her, as it is very difficult to keep them separated. Poor little guy. I know how he feels.WHATEVER YOU CALL ME, DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME A QUITTER. I will fight. I celebrate life. I can not predict the course of my cancer. I will live each day for what it is and give thanks that I got to show up. And marvel at the beauty in it all. Live in the light, not in the fear. Breathe in. Breathe out. It truly is all good.

Surgery Details
posted Thursday, 15 February 2007
Tomorrow's the big day... again, here's all the relevant information...
Details of Surgery
Lattisimus Dorsi Flap
February 16, 7:30am (expected stay 2-3 days... I'm hoping to go home on Sunday)
Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA
For those who have asked how you can help...
The first few weeks after surgery will likely be the toughest - at this point, between Mike & my mother, someone will be staying with me for the first 2 weeks. As was the case last time, meals and visits both sound wonderful (even during the first 2 weeks, as that would be a huge help to Mike & my mom). If you would like to stop by to visit or bring a meal, please let me know a time that is convenient for you. I will be keeping an Excel spreadsheet (of course) to keep track of when to expect people. You can also call me at home (609-877-2238) to see if I am up for visitors (don't worry about disturbing me... I won't answer if I am not up to talking). Emails are also appreciated, and keep me feeling connected (though work-related emails don't really count!)
